Marshfield is a village built on traditions, clubs, and local groups that bring us all together. However, we recognise that the world is changing. Finding volunteers is becoming more difficult, and many of the assets and customs that define our community are at risk of fading away.
The Marshfield Network was established as a Community Interest Company (CIC) to serve as the village's safety net. We provide a central point of stability to help manage and maintain our local assets, ensuring that if a group or tradition reaches a crossroads, it doesn't have to end. Whether we are managing a transition, maintaining an asset, or “holding the fort” until new volunteers step forward, our mission is to ensure Marshfield stays Marshfield.
Sustainable Support Through Innovation
While traditional fundraising and donations are essential, we believe that long-term community support requires a more sustainable approach. This vision led to the creation of Marshfield Broadband.
By providing our village with top-tier connectivity resources, we aren't just looking toward the future of our digital infrastructure; we are creating a permanent income stream for the Marshfield Network. The profits generated from Marshfield Broadband are reinvested directly back into the village, potentially providing thousands of pounds every year to support our local charities, groups, and traditions.
